Okay, seriously...

What the f***? I'm not ungrateful in the least about this, or experiencing any negative emotions over it, unless confusion is now considered negative.

But really, I just don't get it! One of the first things I ever uploaded onto my deviantArt account was a fairly simple mock cover for an Evanesence CD. It was supposed to be just some simple wordplay on the fact that Penelo shares a special ability name with a popular band. So how is it that it's the only thing I ever get Favorites for? Again, I'm not ranting, I'm just confused. Confusion is good.

That aside, school is going well, and I'm exhausted as all get-out as I write this. Kids, go to college. It's fun.

I'm not dead yet!

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated.

Anyway. For the past... I dunno how many weeks, I've been very busy. I am currently holding two jobs, and I'm a full time student in college. Thankfully, it's not as bad as some might seem. I only work two days a week, and go to classes four days a week, and not all day, so I do have time to myself.

Because I have days off, and I'm not working seven days a week like I was at one time, I'll be trying to submit any new art or writing or whatever soon.

Oh, and I just chose Hysterical as my mood because I thought it looked funny. X3

Get your request forms, kids...

Alright...

If you've taken a look in my gallery, and I don't see any reason why you wouldn't, you'd notice that I've got a couple pieces of writing in there. Over the last few weeks, ever since I finished writing the first one, I've offered my writing skills to my very close friends in that they can request any kind of pairing between the characters that we respectively role play.

Why pairings?
Parings, be they romantic or sexual, is a writing subject I have absolutely no experience with. Now, I'm all for trying something new, so when the idea for the very first piece came up, and I actually enjoyed writing it, I thought: "Hey, I should do more of these!".

Why our role play characters?
Because I don't feel like being stuck with the rest of people who write one-shot pairings between famous couples like AxelxRoxas. Other, more devoted, fans can work those parings as much as they want, I'd rather stick to characters I know on a more personal level.

So what does this all mean?
If, for whatever reason, know of the people and the characters for whom I'm writing about and for, and you'd like to see your own little fan pairing come to life, drop me a line here on deviantArt, or catch me when I'm logged into my Windows Live Messenger, and we can discuss the details.

The person who requests the piece has the comfort of knowing I will put as much effort as possible into a piece and that their identity will remain completely confidential. I will follow almost any guideline and, if there is a length request, I will do my best to achieve that. Otherwise, using OpenOffice Word, the piece will be about one and a fourth pages long. That's usually how big my one-shots end up.

Recap?
I'll do any fan pairing between our respective personas and role play characters.
I will follow almost any guideline requested.
The piece can be as long as you so desire and I will do my best to fulfill it.
Your identity will be completely anonymous in the eyes of the public, unless you desire otherwise.

So, if you want to see a fan pairing between any of your favorite characters, just let me know and I'll see what I can do. n_n

PS: Still adoring my special someone. Here's to you if you're reading this, love. n///n

Another update into my busy life.

Didn't get the job with Cirque du Soili.

Didn't end up going to Sakuracon.

They didn't get back to me on the job application, but bleh. I've got a few other applications out at Safeway, Fred Myers, and Borders, to name a few.

The weather sucks lately. How in the world does it SNOW DURING SPRING BREAK?! Yeah, Mother Nature apparently missed the memo that it was Spring Break here in the North West.

But whatever. I am RPing more, I'm starting to write more often, and I'm gearing up for the end of my Senior Year. Depending on a number of things, I will either be working during summer, or taking a trip down to Arizona to spend some time with a few friends. I want to go to Arizona, but if I get a job, I'm not about to suddenly request time off. Yeah...

Oh well, such is life. Got nothing else, so I'll end it here. 'Till next time, deviantArt.

PS: Oh, as for my mood, I kinda just wanted a smily with a balloon, but it also fits because there's a certain someone out there I adore with all my heart right now. n///n

Spring Break Update!

Okay, a bit of an update from my previous entry.

As it stands, I'm not going to New York. I really wanted to go and I'm super honest about that, but as it stands, I just don't have the means to pay for the trip. I hope they all have fun in my place, because I've got other things to worry about.

First on the list: Cosplay! Yes, I'm still going to be doing my Organization XIII Intern cosplay, which will be kinda fun, no doubt. Still need to crack open Word or something to see if I can set it up so I can make a brochure in it, I want to start on them early. My coat is currently in the care of my grandma; A seam broke last Halloween when someone tackled me to the ground, so I'm hoping my grandma can repair it. I've also decided on sew-on letter, probably just because I have the option of those being removable. Sure, the material will have holes in it when they are removed, but with them being so tiny, I don't think you'll really be able to see them unless you're really looking for them.

However, something new has come up that complicates Sakuracon: Cirque du Soleil! WTF, you ask? Well, the uber-famous circus performance is coming to Portland and, believe me, tickets are probably gonna cost as much as both my cosplay, and my Sakuracon admission. So why stress, you ask?

THEY. ARE. HIRING.

No, they are not hiring for performers. They are currently hiring for grunt-work kinda people. Concession stand workers, janitors, ushers, that sort of thing. Now, I'm trying to get a job ASAP so I can work on getting enough money to go to Sakuracon, and I'm guessing it'll only happen by getting a temp job, but anyway~! The peeps running Cirque du Soleil need people for the boring jobs and I would LOVE to be an usher, just so I could get in for free. =P The downside to all this wonderful wonderfulness? I don't have a lot of job experience, and the time frame of when I'd need to be available overlaps with Sakuracon. >_<

So, now I'm faced with a new dilemma. Do I go to Sakuracon or work for Cirque du Soleil?

Which, now that I think about it, may not be a problem at all. According to the job description, I only need to be available from early March to early April. The time frame in which I work can be at anytime between the starting and finishing dates, so if I do get the job at Cirque du Soleil, I have a chance of going to both! X3

So screw the old dilemma. Let's just all hope I can do both!
